auto portrait et totem 2
As a spectator of my own photographic work, how I look at it makes me refer to my own materiality, a certain perception of the inside of the body, something organic which is present in what I photograph if one looks slightly differently.
I therefore came to abstract sculpture created with the materials I photograph and which were abandoned by humankind.
Marble, rusted iron, steel, concrete, burnt wood, and so on.
These body parts are symbolized by an association of organic and geometric shapes.
There are three already.
In photography, I work now a lot with dyptichs or triptychs, associating through motion various subjects connected by their own material.
And now by introducingin a sculpture to my exhibitions.
